Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the land where we gather and work is the Traditional Territory of many Indigenous Peoples across Canada, the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit. This land has been home to diverse Indigenous nations for countless generations, showing their enduring connection to their territories.

We respect the histories, languages, and cultures of Indigenous Peoples who have cared for this land for as long as anyone can remember. As the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators, we promise to build meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities, amplify Indigenous voices and perspectives in our work, and contribute to reconciliation efforts based on respect, understanding, and cooperation.

Let’s move forward together on the path of reconciliation, acknowledging the past, embracing the present, and creating a better future for all who live on this land.
