Annual Examination Pass Rates
As of 2025, COPR publishes the annual examination pass rates for candidates from each of the Canadian educational institutions. Annual pass rates include results for first-time examination candidates and only institutions with a minimum of six candidates are included.
COPR is gradually transitioning its exams to the Canadian Paramedic Competence Framework (CPCF). In 2025, only one Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) examination was administered under the CPCF. Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) examinations will transition to the CPCF in 2026, followed by Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) examinations in 2027. As there was only one CPCF examination in 2025, there is not enough information yet to report results. The results shown below are for examinations based on the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP). COPR expects to report results for both frameworks beginning in 2026.
